Salmon with Wine and Herbs

This recipe is full of flavour and easy enough to cook for a weekday treat.
Serves: 1
Carbohydrate content: 2g per serving
  • 1 salmon steak
  • 3 shallots, diced
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 thyme sprig
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 125ml dry white wine
  1. Fry the fish lightly in a frying pan until it turns golden, then remove.
  2. Fry the shallot in butter until soft and golden.
  3. Add the parsley, bay leaf, thyme and red wine.
  4. Add the fish back to the pan. Cover and simmer gently until cooked to your liking then serve.
