Egg Wraps

Posted on March 05, 2015 by Ruth Buttigieg | 2 comments
Summary
A fantastic pure protein wrap that can be combined with a filling of your choice and a side vegetable of your choice. We added some cream cheese and parma ham as a filling and had it with some asparagus. A great choice either as a light lunch or as a main meal.
Serves: 1
Carbohydrate content: 0.5g per serving
Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 50ml milk
  • salt & pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat a flat based non-stick frying pan over a medium heat with a small knob of butter.
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk thoroughly. Add the milk and whisk again until nice and light. Pour half of your egg mixture into the pan and quickly spread it over the whole base to form a thin layer.
  3. Leave to cook for a couple of minutes until the top surface has no raw egg left.
  4. Turn the egg wrap out onto a plate & repeat for the remaining egg mixture.
  5. Serve with the filling of your choice.
